Called in on the recommendation of one of my customers after delivering furniture to Downham. Excellent produce, the steak and kidney pie was perfect, quiche tastiest I've had. Pork pie... The best! I'll definitely call again when in the area.

I bought a meat and potatoe pie, when I bit into it half the mince was still very pink and not cooked. The pie looked really nice and looked cooked. I have had pies before with no problems and was lovely. This pie disappointed me very much.
Wonderful quantity meats, pies and deli products. The pies are amazing and made fresh every day. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the staff always are cheerful. Home made bacon and local eggs are available too. This is a very popular butchers, with customers coming from miles around to stock up, so be prepared for a queue on Saturday morning.
