Walked over from Clitheroe for an early tea. Wife had the gammon and I had the pan fried chicken and Dauphinoise tater off the specials menu. Both were excellent. Service is as good too. Real ales from Taylors n Moorhouses. They have Bowland but that's cooking bitter IMHO. Overall, this place nails what a traditional ale house should offer.
It was excellent , there were 17 of us and we all Sat down and had a lovely hot meal which takes some doing got that amount of people ....would recommend

Excellent honest good pub! Staff helpful and friendly with good food and service. We had duck tonight that was as good any any fine dining around, with the bonus of not paying those prices. Would 100% recommend.
