Great location. Excellent food. Very freindly staff. Always busy so can be hard to get a good location of table but still enjoy going for a coffee or food. The cu ildrens menu is also very good. Great quality food which i would be happy to order my self. Can take time coming out but this is due to the fact the food is all freshly made. So dont mind the wait.
I hate to give Maxwells a poor review because we have had so many good meals here in the past. Popped in for a quick lunch yesterday and it was dire again. Had to send it back. It was knocked off the bill but just so dissapointed as they staff are always lovely but the standard of the food has gone down in recent months.
A lovely corner cafe-bar with a good range of food and drinks, reasonably priced. Service is friendly but a little slow at busy periods (and they dont seem to scan the tables to see if customers require help often enough) and food takes a while to come. Its difficult to get food and a hot drink arriving at the same time as they have different prep places for both. That having been said, its one of Clitheroes more popular places, and deservedly so for its lovely layout, classy style, warm welcome and convenient location.
The cafe is very well laid out. On a Saturday morning it is busy.We only stopped for coffee. Has be be the sweetest Moka I have ever had.Service was quick and staff all very polite.
Saturday morning was busy and a very new trainee team member served us at our table. She was struggling to find the items we wanted to order on the hand held device used to send orders to the kitchen. As a result I waited 30 minutes before asking where my Eggs Benedict had got to. It had been missed off the order but was ready fifteen minutes later and was excellent. Well worth the wait.
