Great place, smashing choice of cocktails and a lovely set up, quirky but comfy.
We were visiting Clitheroe and we called at this restaurant for lunch. The manager was very helpful and friendly. It was cold outside, but the restaurant was heated to a pleasant temperature for dining. We both ordered the spiedini de pesce as we like fish. It was cooked to perfection and looked good on the plate. The service was absolutely perfect. Both the manager and the waitress were attentive without being obtrusive. It was the perfect dining experience and as such was good value for money. One of our particular likes about this restaurant is that the food is not Anglicised and it is the nearest thing you can get in England to dining out in Italy. The prices are not the cheapest, but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for.
Ambiance and staff always superb. Food always good quality but I do feel that they are pricing themselves out of the market with the cheapest wines above 20 and mains at 25+ without veg which are often extra. Nice to be given a 30 voucher as a loyal long-term customer which we used on this occasion but even with this the bill was nearly 50 per person for two courses with a single bottle of wine and no coffee.
Nice food but very quiet ,only our party and 1 other in a large restaurant
Great service. Went there when my wife was pregnant after the great meal my wife ordered a coffee... I know she shouldn't have it was only one and a special occasion.... the waiter offered decaf. That topped off the great service. Food was good. Little overpriced and could have asked if we wanted the roe on the scallops. Would go back though. Great
