Stayed at this hotel from November through to February proper home from home pub fantastic food and staff .also terry was very accommodating thanks to terry his wife all the staff and regulars who made us feel very welcome.
Not the most welcoming! The room was in serious need of updating. The bed was very old , headboard not attached and very uncomfortable. The bath was dirty as was around the sides of the room. Very disappointing. Breakfast was awful and there was nothing to eat as a vegan. Awful place -like something out of League of Gentlemen!
Great soup...beef broth ...lovely. Bar staff a bit slow... but quite pleasant. Nice pleasant atmosphere and clean. Would go there again. Prices reasonable.
Pleasantly surprised. Had lunch and a drink. It's clean, the food was good and service was also good. Will go there again.
